  • This may work if you do not drive too much at night and give the battery a chance to recharge during daytime. Else, battery may discharge over time.

I did the same. I got a call from Vinod Natarajan after complining to Suzuki India. And got parts replaced.. Good that suzuki is listening our complaints..

      Hi all,

Could any one throw some light on how to contact the Suzuki people(either through email or website or phone)?

      • Hi Pals,

I am from chennai. Sadly my Gs also have the rust problem in her tank neck area. My II service is due by next week. Will the SC guys will change
the tank or should i take up this to Suzuki ? My service is with ABT Suzuki
Nandanam. Apart from that i didn't find any issues. I am ok with mileage too 52+ kmpl. Kindly help me with the required information. A big "Sorry"
for bringing up the rust issue again. I was not following the thread quiet some time. Thanks in advance.

        • With great Power(and Torque) comes great responsibility.

          • The Suzuki ppl are taking the r* issue very seriously and the SC will readily replace any part affected by it. Atleast that is what my SC guys told me here in NaviMumbai.

            • Really happy to note ur mileage even though i am not getting like that. It means u can get a very good mileage in this machine if driven properly. Could u elaborate ur riding style?

PS - Is GS150R comes with 9AH stock or U replaced the stock with this ?

What is the stock battery size in GS150R ??
the stock itself is 9ah. exide.
and does dc mean the headlight stays on when the bike is turned off too??

Mileage... i also have issue, before first service mileage was 47kmpl, after first service 32kmpl, got it tuned again now getting 41kmpl, raised an issue with Suzuki itself, now they said they will verify the tuning again, so need to check how much i'll get after that.

But this bike will give more than 50kmpl if properly tuned. Get it tuned from SC
Even my mileage is very poor around 32kmpl...
                  Should take it to SC

Ask ABT guys about the tank...
To my experience, ABT is not that great now a days... No proper response at all...
If u too feel the same, contact Mr. Kalyan @ SMK Porur. He is most recommended by Mr. Vinod Natrajan

I don't think just connecting the headlight to the battery is good. Read other thread by Abhijeet where he and others gave inputs on this. You need to have a circuit in place to avoid discharging the battery. Unicorn's battery is 5AH and not 9AH (to the best of my knowledge), has your friend modified it?
