    [QUOTE=Maestro;542079]

@ venu still waiting for reply....

Sorry brother for being bit late.
I got Osram NB for 650 Rs at bangalore, actually it was quoted 850 by the shop person, but due to the sheer bargain skill of my relative, i got it at 200 rs less price
As per my knowledge NB is the bulb released by the company in India, and in some other countries, the same bulb they sell by name NB plus. I too had the same doubt as whether my bulb is genuine or not, but i searched in their website. In their indian website its NB only, whereas in Uk web its NB plus. check the sites here please.

Sorry Bro....my Bad. Maybe i am Color Blind. Just kidding. Yeah, it is more Reddish than Brownish. It was kinda Brownish when i drained it after 2500 Kms.

I hope even i love my bike, The bike not loves me
God damm, so many issues with GS, hard to believe, for me its the most trouble free bike I have ridden (splender, ambition being the others).

Yea nostalgic feelings man ....... not to forget the heavy technical discussion (which actually made the thread bore) about TPS and fuel mapping ...... which I had with few other in the initial 20-25 pages ...... but any way I am happy to see that GS has won more hearts than it was expected ......

yup...thats the reason why i find a GS every 2kms in my city.....and yes the TPC discussion.......people still dont believe GS actually has it....they still say how can a 65k bike have features of 6.5 lac bike.....but thats the beauty of GS.......

@all any other GS owner coming for 12/12 from mumbai/pune....????

I couldnt control my impulses and I wanted to experiment...so, I did it the mad mix way, still riding more or less the same way......now Im thinking my bike didnt like that and its plotting its revenge. So, i just want to know if I can expect a smooth ride at 25000 like you even after subjecting my bike to mild torture.
aaahhh got you, ......no man I was very gentle and soft with my bike in the initiall 800KM (1st service <60kmph) ......... after my first service I did some experimenting, but then again did not cross 80-85kmph. It was after my second service I blurt out all my adrenaline and drove with full acceleration and crossed 100kmph. Touch my max 115-117 a couple of times. Plus I have not missed a single service, infact not even got late.........So its tough to say how the bike might behave at 25K for you. I think there is a reason its said that one should not cross 60+ for atleast 500km. But I think you still should not worry, I am sure GS is tough enough to withstand some mild torture ...

              • Hi to all GSpians long time since i visited xbhp very busy with work and good to see the GS thread being one of the most active ones. well i will not go into much details my bike has done 10,600kms done in 6 months did my 5th service currently no issues with the bike except the noise part which has increased and no issues on the Mileage front as well giving me steady 55+ on Expressways.

So overall very pleased with my beauty but will be changing my headlight to something more powerful without much alteration any suggestion on which bulb to go for.

                              • My first post on XBHP

Came across this site while collecting some knowledge base for GS150R,
Got an used GS till its 2011 model comes up in the city, and to practice riding 150cc class of bikes.
The bike really rocks, the performance is just awesome, crosses 60kmph in just 2nd gear, the acceleration is perfect in each gear(except for the 6th which I usually engage after 110), and somehow had a wheelie at the speed of 40 which I didn't intended to do, but happened purely coz of the too much availability of torque through the transmission when I foolishly released the clutch.....

Only 4 GS are there in my city(which I come to know from the dealer) and I haven't even heard of this bike till I went to the showrooms for test driving whatever they've got(I don't watch Television), and fell in love for this bike...
Now can understand why you guys keep saying about its performance and engine. Even though the test drive vehicle got beyond 130, but the one that I have didn't crossed 124 in the city(will b testing high speed on highway soon)(also seems like we get higher top speeds with 5th gear than 6th gear)

If you guys have any special tricks to tell about speeding, then please help, all replies are welcomed.....

Also one thing I would like to say about mileage, its not getting over 50 kmpl even on the highway(don't blame my riding technique, I didn't revved it on the highway or any point during the mileage testing phase, thats why I didn't drove it to top speed even when I was on highway), so if anyone can enlighten me in regard to mileage then please do it coz it will soon start cutting holes in my pocket if it would be like that....

Also seems like the chain is a bit loose(gives a cranking noise whenever I pull the clutch for changing gears i.e. whenever the chain is freely suspended), anyone know how to tighten it or will I have to go to the service center?
