I dont know if it was Teflon Coating or Teflon Polish, since it was given free of cost. I plan to service bike on Saturday, hope to have a good chat with the service engineer then.

              • After a lot of riding the engine gets noisy.. reason mentioned in earlier pages -- All aluminium engines get expanded after heeating..
Aren't other bikes also made of AAI. Does a unicorn or pulsar's engine get noisy after riding for long?

You need a little practice to do it properly. It is better to ask any of your friends to help you in this matter. All the best.

Yes! All engines become a little more noisy after long running...due to thinning of oil and little expansion of metal parts moving inside. AAI engines heat heat fast and vice versa.

                        Dear friend,

Now the matter is very easy. I think you can easily understand what I said about the gear shifting.

@vishnukmd: Sirji...I am a grease monkey on weekends..oh boy..those black dirty hands...love it!!! i am complaining about gears cos i get to ride new bajaj bikes most of the time..sometimes some other vehicles also, but none of them had this hard shifts...neways some pages back in this thread it's mentioned it might be because of overtight chain...'ll check that tomorrow.

Guys have you all got both number plates as standard?? cos my dealer said they are to be bought separately...many of other member's pics show them as standard hence the doubt.
