Awesome weather continues today as well here in Bangy
Frankly speaking I never had any problems with TVS tires, it sounds weird but you can check with nisnth as well.
I never stopped for a break when it was puring as well
Try keeping the bike straight and use Front brakes only to slow down and make sure tires are not over inflated

Like 'slept the bike' and 'shat bricks' Dude, it's hard to imagine bricks being shat. It was just a pun I think. And this us an attempt at trolling.

              • It happens with me quite a lot of time you can say twice in a week... but like a test match player I never loose my patience, temperament & dedication.

                • It happens everyday on the flyover which I mentioned in the earlier post. Most of the R15 and P220 riders come alongside me, do some random stuff to provoke me. Even sometimes the Rx guys. I never mind them. Never lose your patience bro. It happens everywhere..

On my usual route there is a flyover where we usually ride around 40 - 50KPH for around 5KM. After that part we enter the normal slow moving traffic part. The road was quite greasy here. As soon as I entered that road the rear end lost traction completely :O I was doing just 25 - 30 KPH and my bike is fishtailing OMG. At first I thought it was a puncture, but No. It's our TVS tyres. I had my nuts, heart and everything in my mouth at that moment lol. I don't know if its my riding style or not but just could not ride the bike at all. I was losing traction even under acceleration. My tyres are just 11K KM old. What do you guys say? Should I buy new tyres or should I tweak my riding style?
I think your tyre hydroplaned (look it up on google). same thing happened to once on a splendor. i was going at 50-60 kmph, the road was wet, applied the brakes then suddenly the bike started skating on the road fishtailed for i think 20-30 feet then just before the intersection the tires somehow found traction and the bike stopped. could have turned out a lot worse if it hadn't stopped before the intersection. luckily i kept my cool and saved the day. :-)
any tire can hydroplane under certain conditions, so i don't know if changing the tires is a solution.

Hmm, I don't think my tyre aquaplaned because the road was greasy. If I'm not wrong, I think there has to be standing water for aquaplaning.

No mate, both are correct. I like aquaplaning because it sounds good. Both are correct.

When I come across people like those, I give them an impression that I'm ready to race but I don't, when they rip off I laugh at them...fools, just ignore them buddy.
