Spark plug, carb tuning and petrol quality effects RTR in a big way. Bike can turn from a smooth boat to a vibrating monster if anything goes wrong.

Up sizing tyres does NOT effect the working of ABS.. It enhances the braking like anything..

Its really nice if it improves braking but what about sidewall height increase.

Checked & Confirmed ... no effects on ABS whatsoever, Infact I can feel my front brake more effective now ... little speed & rpm difference now, speed going +2/3 kph more to rpm (with stock tyre)

          5000 rpm 5th Cog = 68/69 now

Thats good. And who cares about +- 2/3 when getting fat and grippy rubber on the bike

Height is increased by some 6-8mm only. Not much difference in the height.. But the speedo shows a few more kmph at fixed rpms(some 94/96kmph @7k rpm) & the cushioning effect of the tyres is really good, it makes the ride supper smooth..

Is there an actual increase in speed with higher profile tires or is it what the speedo shows giving room to errors?

When the height increases the radius/diameter also increases & when radius increases the circumference also increases,Hence the distance traveled for one rotation also increases.. The speedo of all bikes come readily equipped with errors like 0-60 or 0-100 timer & a few bikes show 100kmph but when compared to a car the reading would be some 92/95 kmph..All speedos show errors when compared to a GPS device.. BUT I could feel the bike goes faster at particular rpm(s)( coz I do the same stretch of NH4 every week & ride at the same rpm range always), the increase in speed is legitimate & not just a digital error..

Yes, the bikes come with speedo errors and I guess our beasts sport an error margin of 1.083 or similar points. That makes the console show 134 at an actual 124 kmph.

I got my answer in the last sentence though. So, the speed too increases at specific RPMs.

Specific rpm means the bike used to do 80kmph @ 6k rpm on the 110/80 & now does 84kmph & used to do 92kmph @7k rpm now does 98kmph..
There is a constant change of speed at every rpm but it is easy to note down n remember the change of speed at these rpms, like 5k,6k & 7k rpms..

When rear tyre profile is changed, the actual speed of the bike changes (depends on the profile).

When front tyre profile is changed, the speedo starts indicating wrongly because the speed sensor is mounted on front wheel, which was calibrated to the original profile.

So what happens when both are changed? From what I understand from your post one must not change the front tire profile to keep a check on the speedo readings. But what will happen if both ends got tires with unmatched profiles? I'm not sure if I'm asking the proper question.

Changing the tyre with a tyre of different aspect ratio is like changing the gearing (like we do with sprocketing) so its not just the speedo error there will be some real change.
