R15 - purchase in chennai

im planning to buy a R15 by Jan 2011
im from chennai, can anyone suggest me which is the best dealer point for the purchase and very good After sales service and im bit worried that whether R15 MY2011 edition will be different ??? bcos some say that Its gonna release with ROSSI EDITION , i love it , so i have to wait or go ahead with the current release MY2010 .......... pls help guyss
and any chennai friends with R15 share ur experiences with me .......

Valentino Rossi from 2011 onwards won't be a part of Yamaha. I am not so sure whether many know someone by the name of Ben Spies & J Lo

and will be aval in the last qtr or last month of 2010 , thats what i asked

I was told it was synthetic and that it wont be any cause of problem...that in the second service they anyway change it to this

Rossi edition seems unlikely for 2011 why would Yamaha promote Rossi when he is no longer riding for them best time was when they launched the white version maybe a Jorge version but guess he does not have too many followers.
One of those mysteries whenever bike is washed invariably it has to rain and spoil

Hmm the yamaha authorised service center has a practice of putting in semi-synthetic oil for R15 . How much were you charged for the oil? if it was 430 then it was the semi-synthetic . If it was around 900 or more then it was the synthetic.


Whatever the case may be, it's all right. Though the use of fully synhetic oil is not recommended till about 5000kms but there's not much you can do about it now. Just remember you CAN NOT shift to a lower grade oil once you've put in semi-synthetic or fully synthetic oil.

Haven't read/ heard this anywhere else. Can you elaborate on the reasons? (by grade you mean mineral, SS & FS na)

guys i have a serious problem....
the left foot peg at low speeds seems to make a lot of noise...this happens @3000rpm or so specially when im riding on uneven surfaces(moonsoon)...
i even get a feeling that the entire left side ie., the foot peg and the gear lever are falling off from the bike, such intense is the disturbance...there is a lot of movement on the left side....
i ve complained about it to the guy in the svc at the time of my seond service, they some what fixed the problem but in no time the sound and movement appeared again...(sound is kinda 'creek creek' 'tak tak' with movement)

even today i went to the svc n the guy there was so reluctant, i literally shouted at him...he took the bike in and tried to fix something n returned in a while asking me to check...the moment i tried to ride the bike forward the sound appeared...
i told him the same but he told this sound do come n its common n we cant do anything about it, i said 'wtf'....shouted at him n got off from there....

NOW this noise is very annoying and im very much worried about the bike....
please try to solve my problem and what can i do in case of the svc guys? service is worst(anywhere in hyderabad)....please gimme your suggestions.

rain help..

guys, its raining cats and dogs in nagpur and riding in the rain is almost unavoidable...and at times the level of water on the roads can be overwhelming! sometimes even reaching upto the chain riding at 15-20kmph water coming up to the visor being common..!
i really need some tips on how to go about maintaining the baby.. and yeah still no updates about the "under the seat sound" though i tried isolating the sound.. i actually hit the saree guard from down and as normally heard, the same sound came 4 out of every 10 times...no achievement though!!
