as it is while braking the pressure comes on your wrist, which turns the full force on the handlebar, which eventually sticks your front portion of the bike in complete traction on road and control of your movement. just a bit of rear brake helps to keep the bike on ground and not to be lifted from rear side. And in all this your shoulder are still free which helps you maneuver the bike. Just while braking dont make your body too stiff or else flexibility will be affected which is not good when your reflexes need to work in flash.

Try to get used to a comfortable riding posture first, then start checking the braking system. Just practice it few times till you get into its habit. And I am sure you will use it and do it wisely.

    All the Best

    Thanx Dude.....
Will definitely try to make a habit of this posture.....

      • ^^ try the one fitted on the CBF stunner. That should be a direct fit. I dont think so that inner guard is part of the yamaha accessories offered.

A number of people have sent this mail... and if i was with yamaha, my reply would be the same.

Why?? why would a company disclose its plans for launching the newer model?? say if the new bike is coming in may, then why would it kill its current sales for march and april?? Simple business strategy. They will simply plonk it on the market once the existing stock is exhausted and deliveries have been made.

All in all its a fruitless exercise. Either wait, or buy the current one.

This part should worn out on its own and then it will align itself correctly. This can also be fixed in the SVC, as in my case.
bro .. If you could throw more light on what actually that rubber is for? and how much did it cost??

I got my r15 the day before yesterday, and trust me from the reviews on xBhp and my personal experience the past two days riding this has been heavenly...you ve made the rite decision......

At the time of delivery check the bike thoroughly for scratches etc. during delivery my front alloy had white paint splashed all over it (must be from some nearby construction site) i insisted those guys to change the front wheel itsef, which they did....so just an overall exterior check will do, take a small test ride before signing the delivery note... ask the dealer for some free accessories....

Rightly said! i bought the current edition in a hurry thinking that the new edition would be launched soon. I like it and feel its much better in terms of economy compared to the much awaited 2011 edition...
No its not about speed, its about turning and shifting those gears!

Went on an early morning blast to mahabalipuram on the ecr.!! every mintute of the ride was heavenly! the bike handles well on corners, and insitills the confidence in you to lean on corners (which was pretty scary on my old p150)...

i have a small clarification, today morning when i cranked the engine the first time, it failed to start and the very next instant i heard the fuel injection.(basically the whirring sound) ..after which upon cranking again it started....is this normal?? ....

Yeah thats normal for our bikes. I am guessing thats the fuel pump check done to see nothing wrong with the injection of fuel.
