+1; I'm suffering from poorly replaced/defective shims Just after 1.3K odd kms after last service, there's once again tappet noise followed by huge vibrations now!!! It also matters most that, the ASC knows how to fix the shims

I change the DOT 4 in my HH Karizma each year irrespective of the kms I had done, with TVS Girling DOT 4...and have very responsive braking.
Yes, I've done over 17k kms now.
Regarding the color, I think I'll need to have a closer look at it as I haven't checked it. But in any case, I'll be replacing it with DOT4 soon.

The results are lovely and is more durable but then it is hard work. And it also stains any matt plastic area. So be very careful when using it. I use it on the tank, all fairing and painted parts and sometimes even on the windscreen.
Collinite on the otherhand is a very easy to use product. Results are good but dint find it as long lasting. But really really easy to apply and get off. Can be used on most surfaces. (i did use it on the matt black area and dint find it staining)
Didn't find a need to use a antirust till now accept for the mirror bolts which were later replaced by Honda.

Guys, please do attach a mudflap shown by chicmagnet or (there must be images of my DIY last year) because its really a lot of effort to clean the radiator after a ride in rains and will affect in long rides. This would be all you need and no other Radiator guard is required. Actually, no radiator guard can protect it from the mud and water splashing on it.
          Happy Monsoon!
Thanks mate. I have unticked turtle wax from my list. Reason being the extreme effort that it requires and the relative lack of the 'waxable' areas on my bike . The entire fibre tank cover is not all that expensive either, so why fret and toil when it can be replaced later.
Collinite and meguires however have proven more difficult to find than a peace loving Arab or a traffic rules obeying Indian or a short Dutch....

I mean where in hell do they sell these in Mumbai? Navi Mumbai is an apology of a place to look for Auto Accessories. Absolutely nothing here, save the Motomax branded Pidilite products. Babloo Motors haven't heard of collinite or meguires.Exasperated, I picked up a bottle of Motomax car shampoo, Motomax dashboard Polish(for polishing the matt black plastic areas on the duke) and zorrik(pidilite too) general purpose spray to keep away moisture and rust from the keyhole and nuts/bolts.
The Hypercity store in the Inorbit mall vashi does store some imported stuff but mostly F1 and Armor All. The shampoos that were there were Wash and Wax. I was a bit apprehensive about the 'wax' part in the shampoo as I thought the plastics might look too shiny after wash.
Still looking for MF clothes and chemois though.

PS: owners please accept my apologies for this lengthy OT, but the 'Bike POlish' thread is seldom frequented by members.

You can order it online from www.bringingbest.com, New Delhi, India (i had got collinite from here) or there was a site Aargee recommended too. They stock MF cloth and one comes free with collinite 845 too. Yes, this would be OT here.

Nice videos, but entire videos in slow-motion making the CBR going like a bicycle.
