I think this problem would wave off if you use a <6k kelvin HID and a bigger battery. I have contacted a Philips dealer for the 4300 k HID, he quoted me 5500 for the same, but it is currently out of stock.

That sounds good.. but i didn't wanna take a risk with it as i faced issues the last 2 tours i had been to.. I do have issues with the battery and the mechanics are saying the battery is charging properly.. but I don't think it is.. i have changed the battery too.. but still had issues with it.. maybe have to change the charging unit and get a bigger battery.. anyone knows a better charging unit than that of the ZMR and the cost of it??

Must be faulty HID , General china made 35 watt hid needs around 6 amp for starting & then stable around 3 Amp . So may be it is drawing more current .

As i know philips HID comes in pair , Bulb pair cost 5000 & Ballast pair 5000 , so total 10000 for a hid set , may be either you getting only bulb pair or he is selling one unit seperately .

Absolutely correct. He is selling one unit separately.

Do check about wiring harness , as know it will be single one with 2 connectors . IIRC philips has 4200k & 6000k HID , not 4300K . Do check Lighting thread old pages where me , shoeb & other discussed it & a pdf to identify genuine kit is linked there .

Maybe.. My friend got me the Projector and sent it to me.. so not sure about the originality.. neither did i bother to ask him at that time..

besides.. even now I am facing issues with the battery.. if I keep the headlight turned on for an hour.. the battery dries off.. initially before Divya asked me to change the fuse.. the battery dried off in 15 to 20 mins with the normal headlight (osram Night breakers)..

Check for corroded battery terminals as well as loose wire terminals. Both must be free of rust/corrosion and cables must be properly tightened.

Another issue creeping up. Had a puncture in the front wheel a week back and I got it fixed. The mech did it correctly as I was rite in front of him. But now every two or three days, am forced to fil air again. The pressure drops to 10 or below. Any solutions?

Yes. Get a layer of slime between the rim and tire. Air is escaping through weakened sidewalls. Costs 80 odd bucks at pit stop in Sanjaynagar.

Everything s perfect.. got everything checked regarding rusts corrosion and cables are tight

Just get the bike to them and say air is leaking through side walls. They'll do the rest. AFAIK, this can be done at Pit Stop, Dream machines and an untitled mech right opposite Ramaiah hospital.

I had the exact same issue and only the works manager was able to identify.. this happened 3yrs back on the front tire.. everyone else was like faulty alloy.. u ll have to change alloy.. etc etc.. but this works manager was like it ll be fixed and they removed the tire.. painted the inside of the alloy wit a coat like divya said and since then its fine..

Need some input fellow ZMR owners . I Want to change my Philips Blue Vision Bulb .
Looking for something whiter to match pilot smd led .
So far found 3 Bulbs are some what white

1) Osram Night Breaker Plus
2) Philips Extreme Vision
3) Ring Xenon Ultima 120 . ( Its a halogen bulb not HID )

Various claims by various users on various web concluded ONB is filled with some sort of gas , once is it burned out they will tend to yellow .
Philips Extreme Vision is yellowish than ONB .
No useful info found on Ring Xenon .
Also it is said ONB lifespan is shorter than Philips .

Any ZMR owner used them previously / using them currently ? If so please provide some info how the one/two/three you used perform with ZMR reflector ?
Which one is brighter , superior , whiter ?

Found ONB & PEV clicks side by side here Philips X-Treme Vision Vs. Osram Night Breaker Plus - Page 6 Judging by them i think ONB are whiter but PEV add is confusing
