Approved and merged (in the 180 thread)!

Well, you can get a new bike if sound matters so much to you. Why screw a perfectly running bike otherwise?
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Vibrations or no vibrations, but it is a hoot to ride. Although I am still in run in, but still I can feel the quick acceleration. Waiting for the day when I will be able to extract the power of 15 horses

Hope you are all doing well. My bike is going strong. Some points I want to share with you all.

            1. I now shift up @4k rpm. And downshift @3k-2k rpm. The upshifts are smooth and the downshifts have become smooth as well.
            2. After riding the bike for 20 mins, I can feel the engine heat a lot. Will it go down with time or am I doing something wrong here.
            3. Although the mentioned speed in the manual is 50 km/h for 1500 kms, but I have taken my bike to 57 km/h in 5th gear gradually for a few secs and come down to below 50.

I have noticed that earlier the engine used to scream like its going to explode anywhere near 3.5k rpm. But now the screaming sound has lessoned a bit and now it revvs upto 4k rpm easily.

            P.S. My beast
You can take it up to 70-80 once a week after your 1st service. It will be a good workout for the engine & u will know how the bike reacts at that speed.

I have completed around 300 kms so far, as I get to ride only during the weekends. And since I haven't got my number yet from the RTO , I am not able to take it out for long rides. My 1st service is due next week. Hopefully will get the number in a couple of weeks time. Then I can take it on a few highway rides to stretch it's legs.

                andy, you're over-thinking. just ride.

there's very little you can do within your fear envelope that will destroy your bike. except maybe something stupid like ride at 3000 rpm in 1st gear for a few clicks...

That might be the case but since it is my first bike and I am new to riding so I am just a little overprotective about my bike I guess

My bike wobbles a bit when i make a turn / cornering. This wobble feeling increases when I have a pillion rider. I took my bike to Service Centre and they confirmed that cone sets, fork and shocks are fine. I was wondering what else could be the issue. Now I want to check the rear wheel as well, though I am not sure what to check in rear wheel, suggestions??

I suspect "wheel alignment" since the wobbling increases while making a turn. Where can we do the wheel alignment for two wheelers? (particularly in Bangalore).
