    clocked 10.5k on the odo..

rpm isn't actually fluctuating.. the bike misfires when revved to 4k and throttle is let go... specifically the knock/mfire happens at 3.6k rpm..
will check it anyway, btw which is that duct you are talking about? any image would help a lot

with only the tool-kit provided, you won't be able to open the front sprocket cover, the tank to clean the air-filter, won't be able to change the oil or tighten the mounting bolts, won't be able to change the idling rpm...

so, most of the above things if taken care of before the ride may not cause a problem during it.. but at the least, do carry a tire puncture repair kit and a longer screw driver and necessary allen keys..

grease won't cause harm i suppose..it would just attract a lot of dirt onto the chain..
after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

Carry puncture repair kit, air pump and if you going for a very long ride in treacherous conditions then you should carry tools to adjust your chain as well. And ofcourse chain lube and clean. I would not suggest grease as it will most on top of the chain and not go in inner O-ring of the chain. If you not carrying Lube then at any mechanic shop just get the chain lubed by a 90 grade engine oil, or used engine oil. It should work, but when you come back get the chain cleaned with diesel and then get it properly lubed. Ride Safe

Why you don't go for a vinyl wrap on your fairings? More expensive but if done well looks great, far better than stickers.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Where can I get it done in Delhi NCR???

By Stickers, I meant custom Vinyls to cover most of the Side Panels.

If you can, please suggest some shops in NCR region and approx costs (If its higher than the price of Side panels.. I'll just go for new panels)

Before you spend your energy searching for custom vinyls, i would suggest you to just go with the new side panels and call it a day. Custom Vinyls will be costlier.

              • Daytona Exhaust

                Hello Guys..
                I have bought a R15 2.5 months back and I have clocked 4400 kms.
I recently upgraded to Daytona Dagrex Exhaust and what I need to know here is that what are the other changes or alterations I have to do now, as of now the only change I can notice is the increase in decibals..

..and I am in Delhi now. Plz if anyone can suggest good mechanic around Gautam Nagar area New Delhi..

Exhaust alone has given you just what it could. You need to get the Remapped ECU and High lift cams too.

Unfortunately all that Dagrex does is give a rise in decibels. You need to get your bike Joel'd

Joel is a member on xbhp plus as far as I know, he's a race engineer too who prepares 165cc kits with custom valves, cams and exhaust for R15.

You can download owner's manual from internet.

Hmm I too thought the same... I didn't knew anything about Vinyl wraps earlier but google baba ki Jai!! searched and found informative articles..

So, Now that, I understand that Vinyl wraps would be costlier.. So I could go with the Side panels.. but the thing is I would have to wait for the Side panels to arrive after I order it at the svc. Moreover, till then I've to keep the current one with scratches... I also wanted to change the default vinyl on the side panels.. So thought may be I could get some from Karol bagh... I could go for it if the cost isn't much on the higher side.. I'm a newbie in this matter so thought of getting suggestions from fellow forum members
